My first leap into digital painting... I'm not really satisfied with the overall finish of this. But it's my first try at composition, I chose not to edit again so I could base my work off this as a starting point of my journey into the realm of art.

I am really disappointed at how I used a really bad font for the main words. I also thought I did the lines too predictably as it looks really consistent...maybe a gradient fade with more lines would have worked better.

I was just testing random techniques in this one and I really liked how the color dodge really blended for the binary coding in the middle. The blending of color dodges to produce the glow on the barcodes was also really surprising. All in all, I'm happy at my first attempt at composition ;)
